The Association for Human Rights and Tolerance NPO

The Association for Human Rights and Tolerance NPO was founded on the 10th of December 2004 with the aim of promoting the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in order to establish these as the starting point for all agreements between nations and peoples of the world.

The Universal Declaration of Human rights was adopted by the United Nations on the 10th of December 1948 in the wake of the Second World War, which had witnessed the most brutal injustices the world had ever seen up until that time.

The Declaration was meant to guide the way towards the creation of a civilization based on respect for individuals, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic group.

The aim of the Association is to have all articles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights applied to every man, woman and child, thus ensuring that fundamental rights are respected for all.
